Palantine Hilltop View: The Colosseum -Rome
By Patricia Mezzina, Wildlife & Travel Photographer
From the hilltop above Rome, the Colosseum reveals itself differently—not as a ruin, but as a relic still breathing beneath modern streets. The traffic fades. The tourists disappear. What remains is scale—the enormity of history held in a single frame.
I raised my camera as golden light brushed the ancient arches. From up here, the arena feels more human, more fragile. No longer just stone and shadow—but story and silence.
A civilization carved in curves, still echoing through the wind.
